15th edition of international outdoor sculpture
The doors of the artistic spectacular open air promenade have reopened. Those who believe that in Caorle there is no art gallery make a mistake. Who knows Caorle, knows also one of the most famous open-air galleries: Scogliera Viva!
The promenade leading to the Blessed Virgin, which since 1993 hosts real works of art, carved in the rocks. Every two years, evolving through the event which gave its name to these works: live reef. Since 1993 from all over the world artists were lured by the cliff, dealing in a race to chisel shots. Bodies and faces that intersect with the forms of nature, water flows from features of mythological animals, the typical portraits of Caorle.
The initiative, recently became biennial has therefore reached its 15th edition this year and it has occurred from June 24 to July 3, seeing artists like Simone Beck Puppet Sestilio, Masa Paunovic and Piero Pronzat.
Their work has been reintroduced to the public through a video broadcast on the final evening of July 3, in order to revive even to the absents the beautiful emotions of those days.
