Those who really love Caorle know that to fully experience it is not enough to spend a few hours on its golden beaches. In fact, there is a whole world to discover just a few kilometres from the sea: the landscape of the reclaimed land, with its quiet and good cultivated land, the uncontaminated environment of the lagoon, with its silences and dreamlike views.

To really experience this splendid area, therefore, it is necessary to fully immerse oneself in nature and its rhythms. If you want to do this, you can count on a wide choice of farmhouses that really allow you to have a holiday in close contact with the environment.

We have therefore chosen to give you a brief overview of the agritourisms that the Caorle area has to offer.

To begin with, you can start with the ‘Di la dal fiume’ holiday farm, which is located near Brian, just a five-minute drive from the beaches of Porto Santa Margherita, Valle Altanea and Caorle.

The facility is housed in a historic building, which has been completely renovated and is located a short distance from the small port of Brian. Here you can explore the countryside by bicycle, while those who prefer to take a stroll can use the farm’s gardens. There is also a swimming pool for guests.

An alternative for tourists is the “Ca’ Lealtà” holiday farm, located in Strada Durisi in the Marango district of Caorle. This pleasant accommodation has been obtained from a farmhouse dating back to the end of the nineteenth century, renovated maintaining the architectural features of the typical Veneto farmhouses. Guests will find flats of different sizes equipped with all the necessary comforts to ensure a perfect holiday immersed in a pleasant and peaceful environment. The location is also ideal for those who want to reach both the sea and the art cities of the hinterland (Concordia Sagittaria and Portogruaro), which are only a few kilometres away.

Less than a kilometre from Caorle, on a side road of Provincial Road 59, is the “Casa della Sesta Presa”: an old farmhouse with white shutters that has undergone a major restyling. The farmhouse is part of a farm cultivated with arable crops (maize, wheat, soya, etc.) that uses, among other things, a photovoltaic system with a focus on environmental preservation. Here too there will be a warm welcome and all the comforts ideal for those who want to spend a peaceful holiday, far from chaos and noise.

In the vicinity of the hamlet of Ottava Presa, there is another charming accommodation, the Agrimargherita farmhouse, which offers its guests a Venetian restaurant, free Wi-Fi and rooms with a “country” atmosphere. The garden and communal terrace also offer a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.

This brief excursus is certainly not intended to be a complete guide to all that Caorle and its countryside have to offer tourists, but at least a mention of what lies beyond the Caorle lagoon, in the Brussa, is a must.

It is worth mentioning, for example, the Oasis “La Brussa” that, in the homonymous locality, offers the residence “Casa Are” and the nearby agritourism “La Brussa”. From these places it is possible by bike or on foot to discover the uncontaminated landscapes of the Caorle Lagoon, loved by the American writer Hemingway.
